A memo
from the Blog Author
"Congress
passed the Affordable Care Act to improve health insurance markets, not to
destroy them. If at all possible, we must interpret the Act in a way that is
consistent with the former, and avoids the latter" --Justice
Roberts, in a majority opinion saying that although ObamaCare explicitly
requires states to set up exchanges, federal exchanges (which were not mentoned
in the 2,800 page law) are allowable and legal.
As a CPA
and expert on federal tax research, I say unto you infallibly, “Get ready for
tyranny in America
.” Laws no longer mean what the lawmakers wrote. Brace yourselves.
Here’s my quote of the day, this one from Senator Ted Cruz
(R-TX): “Unelected
judges have once again become legislators, and bad ones at that. They are
lawless, and they hide their prevarication in legalese.”
