The Dunning Kruger Effect Is Real

This Dunning-Kruger Effect comes from a study published in 1999.  It posits that the perceived result of tests is higher than the actual result for test takers who are unfamiliar with the topics being tested.  And those who understood the topics perceived a test result for themselves slightly below their own actual results.

Skeptical Inquirer magazine has an interesting article defending the Dunning-Kruger effect that was written by Stuart Vyse and some charts are included.  It is available at https://skepticalinquirer.org/exclusive/yes-the-dunning-kruger-effect-really-is-real/
