Although i agree with your list, some of them definitely have humorous value and are enjoyable for this reason, such as the Bill Shatner cover of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds and The Archies Sugar Sugar.
ReplyDeleteThere is a long and honorable tradition of goofy "novelty" songs from "Mairsy Doats" to "Living la Vida Loca." Some of the songs on my list above ARE funny, but I am guessing it is unintentional humor. This can be and should be mined for laughs -- on a related note -- I'm glad Beavis and Butthead have been brought back to make us laugh at the current crop of unintentionally funny videos.
