Bacteria in Meteorites

A friend sent me this link today. NASA scientist finds fossil micro-organisms in a meteor (proving that extra-terrestrial life actually existed):

desired additional proof: (a) independent test of the rock to make sure the elemental isotopes are different (ie the atomic weight is different – see my February 24, 2001, “daily quiddity” blog on the “Periodic Table” for how this works) and (b) an outside lab doing electron scanning microscope work on this meteor that also finds fossilized micro-organisms

The weirdness of some of the life forms adds weight to the authenticity of this research. Since the NASA work has been done and peer-reviewed, we can assume that LIFE ACTUALLY EXISTED ELSEWHERE unless further testing contradicts the peer reviewed finding.

Once confirmed, this work should earn a Nobel Prize in science – at a minimum.

  1. "LIFE ACTUALLY EXISTED ELSEWHERE"

Properly stated. We don't know yet if ET life is the origin of life on earth.
