Tirat Tsvi, Israel - 129 degrees (June, 1942)
Ahwaz, Iran - 128 degrees
Wadi Halfa, Sudan - 127 degrees (April, 1967)

Statistically, it is impressive that the two hottest records have stood for nearly 89 years and for 98 years. Aside from those two locales, the upper limit seems to be 131 degrees Fahrenheitit.
