Common but Untrue Dog Myths

Jennifer Fabiano prepared a list of six myths about dogs that were published by Mental Floss.  Here they are:

1. Dogs are completely color blind
2. A dog’s mouth is cleaner than a human’s mouth
3. One human year equals seven dog years
4. A dry or warm nose means a dog is sick
5. Indoor dogs don’t get heartworm
6. Only male dogs hump
