The New York Times
for April 6, 2019, has a long story on a resistant fungus, C. auris, that has
shown up worldwide in hospitals (and, in the United States , nursing homes). Many infected hospitals have not informed the
public of the danger involved in being present (for elective surgery, for
example) at such a facility.
