Deadly resistant fungus candida-auris

The New York Times for April 6, 2019, has a long story on a resistant fungus, C. auris, that has shown up worldwide in hospitals (and, in the United States, nursing homes).  Many infected hospitals have not informed the public of the danger involved in being present (for elective surgery, for example) at such a facility.
